The month of January will be rich for the Badminton club Kemperle which will organize interclub meetings on January 17 and 18, the Finistère youth championship on January 24 and 25, and a master veterans tournament on January 31 and February 1.
To prepare for all these events, the club’s players successfully played in numerous tournaments last weekend. The adults shone in Saint-Nolff, with the victories of Damien L’Homme, in men’s singles series 4, of Zora Helary, in women’s singles series 3, and the doubles of Louis Rohou and Malou Bossard in mixed series 4. Hugo Gilbert, Johanka Ivanovicova and Malvy Pelleter arrived in the final.
Young people in great shape
The young people were in Douarnenez and Kervignac. In Finistère, the BCK won several victories with the youngest Margot Robins, the youngest Elouan Lestic, the junior Malone Hilmoine, and the youngest Anna Bouillot who beat Faustine Guyomard in a 100% BCK final. The youngest Antoine Tallec and the youngest Léo Le Dez reached the final. In Morbihan, Victor Pinto won in chicks while Louen Grevellec ranked 2nd in mini-bad and Malyane Rouchel 2nd in chicks.
Four players at national level
Four young people from BCK were qualified for the round of the CEJ (Elite Youth Circuit) in Oullins, near Lyon. “It’s a valuable experience at the highest national level in a competition bringing together the best French players from each youth category,” underlines Quentin Tuaillon, BCK coach. Bleuen Le Bronnec Flouret, Suzon Helary, Louka Bihan and Félicie Garnier were able to measure themselves against the national elite, the best performance being for Louka Bihan who ranked 4th among the youngest.
