FC Bayern quickly brings in a replacement for US professional Dinwiddie
An illness in the family led to the separation from Spencer Dinwiddie. Svetislav Pesic will quickly get a new player for the Bayern basketball team.
After the short-term departure of former NBA player Spencer Dinwiddie, the basketball players at FC Bayern Munich quickly signed a replacement. As the German champions announced, development player Nenad Dimitrijevic comes from Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia. The 27-year-old North Macedonian national player has signed a contract with Munich until the end of the season with the option of a further year.
“In ‘Neno’ we are expanding our squad in a position where we suffered several injuries and after Spencer was unable to return,” explained sports director Dragan Tarlac.
Nothing to think about for the new guy
Dimitrijevic, who will wear number 0, said: “Munich is a great and very respected organization, and when Coach (Svetislav) Pesic calls you, it’s an honor and a no-brainer.”
A position became vacant at Munich after the contract with US development player Dinwiddie (32), which was only concluded last October, was terminated due to a serious illness in his family.
