Galatasaray MCT Technic qualified to advance directly to the last 16 rounds by finishing as the leader of the 2025-2026 FIBA Basketball Champions League regular season group.
Our team’s opponents have also been determined in the round of 16 group matches consisting of 4 teams.
Our Galatasaray; In group A, they were paired with Lithuanian representative Rytas Vilnius, who had 4 wins and 2 losses, while their other opponents were confirmed after the play-in matches.
Accordingly, the third place in Group D, Italian Trapani Sharks, the second in Group C, Israeli representative Hapoel Holon, and the second in Group G, French Le Mans teams, who defeated Mersin Sports Club, second in Group H, in both matches, were entitled to be in the group of our yellow-red team.
Galatasaray MCT Technic will play its first match in Group I of the last 16 rounds against Le Mans on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 20:00. The match will be played at Turkcell Basketball Development Center. The last 16 round group matches will end on 17-18 March 2026.
After the quarter-final matches to be held in April, the final four will meet on May 7-10, 2026. The venue where the final matches will be played will be announced later.
