The third edition of the tournament of champions brings together teams from six countries in Mexico City. Know the format, teams and calendar.

The Baseball Champions League Americas 2026 will bring together champion teams from six countries of the March 24 to 29 in the eAlfredo Harp Helú stadium from Mexico City. The tournament, organized by the WBSC and the LMB, includes for the first time a representative of China Taipei.

Six countries in search of the continental crown

The Baseball Champions League Americas confirms its third edition with a format that promises maximum competitiveness. Six national league champion teams They will be divided into two groups to seek the continental title in the Mexican capital.

Groups and competition format

Group 1 will be made up of representatives of Mexico, United States and Venezuela. For its part, Group 2 will be made up of the teams of Cuba, Chinese Taipei and Nicaragua. The leaders of each group will advance directly to the semifinals. The teams that finish in second and third place will play an elimination match to define the two remaining tickets to the next phase.

Venue and game schedule

All matches will take place at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadiumhome of the Red Devils of Mexico. The calendar includes two games a dayat 10:00 and 19:00 hours (central Mexico time). The grand final is scheduled for Sunday, March 29.

Historic invitation and institutional support

In a press conference, Horacio de la Vega, Executive President of the LMB, highlighted the inclusion of CPBL Brothers of China Taipei as “a great novelty” that will raise the level of the tournament. The event is supported by the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the participating national federations.
