dc.description.abstract The research developed in the thesis “Psycho-pedagogical orientation actions to work on the preparation of badminton athletes in the 13-15 category of the EIDE of Villa Clara”, has its origin from the insufficiencies in the planning of psychological objectives and the lack of criteria for psycho-pedagogical work by coaches with students. Appreciating and validating psycho-pedagogical work actions to improve the preparation of coaches from a psychological point of view in the practice of badminton is the main objective of the work and the actions are designed based on the determination of the needs of athletes and coaches taking into account the conditions of social development that influence the performance of the athlete, the assessment of the criteria of specialists, the observation of preparatory competitions and training, the review of documents, the psychological characterization of the athletes carried out by the Institute of Sports Medicine and the application of two specific tests: “Sports Motives” and “Psychological Performance”; which made it possible to analyze, evaluate and validate the guidance actions demanded in the work of psychological preparation by the coaches for what constitutes the main result of the research. and_US dc.description.abstract The research developed in the thesis “Actions of psycho-pedagogical orientation to work the
