Mark yoru calendars! Pradines badminton is set to host its inaugural lottery event on Friday,January 30th. The Espère village hall will open its doors at 7 p.m., with the games kicking off at 8 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to win a variety of exciting prizes, offering a fun-filled evening for the entire community.

Young Talent Shines in Departmental Detection

Figeac was the scene of intense competition this past Saturday, January 24th, as 22 promising young badminton players, all under the age of 11, gathered for a departmental detection event. Under the watchful eyes of experienced club coaches and guided by departmental coach Baptiste Dajean, these budding athletes, categorized as minibads (under 9) and chicks (under 11), were put through their paces.

The evaluation focused on a comprehensive assessment of their athletic abilities, including motor skills and agility drills. Beyond the physical challenges, the young players also engaged with knowledge-based exercises and quizzes, testing their understanding of the sport. The event, held in a well-equipped Cosec facility, ran from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.The dedication shown by these young athletes is commendable, with some set to advance their development by participating in the regional stage of the detection program in Rabastens (81) at the end of March.

the Pradines badminton club is experiencing a particularly busy week, marked by a series of interclub matches both on home turf and on the road. The club’s commitment to competitive play is evident with multiple teams in action:

  • The departmental team 1 is scheduled to compete in Figeac this Thursday.
  • The Pradines Bad 5 team will host Labastide-Murat on Monday evening.
  • The PB6 team is set to travel to montat on Tuesday.
  • The PB3 team will welcome Le Montat for a match on Wednesday.

youth Circuit Continues with Stage 3

This coming Sunday, February 1st, over 40 young badminton enthusiasts will make their way to Saint-Céré to participate in Stage 3 of the circuit. this event underscores the club’s dedication to providing consistent opportunities for its junior members to compete and grow.
