In search of precious points, theAmiens UC Badminton was able to gain the upper hand over Lille and thus return to success (7-1). A victory which is important in the race to maintain.
At the start of the meeting, Operie Bureron and Marion Ugue (N3)perfectly mastered their subject, winning quite easily against Chevallier/Tessier (R4) (21-10, 21-5; 1-0)followed by Marie Lasquellec (R4), who struggled a little in the first set against Morgane Watteau (R6; 21-19)before setting off (21-11; 2-0). In men’s singles 1, after a difficult start (4-11), Yvon Crépelle (N2) managed to recover (21-17), before taking off (21-7) against Raphaël Mauret (N3; 21-7; 3-0). The first setback for the Amiens came from Thomas Binois (N3) who bowed to the veteran Mathieu Skotarek (R4)at the end of a disputed match (19-21, 22-20, 16-21; 1-3).
Léo Crépin and Ophélie Béron (N2/N3)associated for the first time, were a little scared, since after having pocketed the first round (21-17) in front of the pair Savini/Tessier (N3/R5)the Picards suffered in the second (11-21), before rebounding perfectly (21-12, 4-1). They saw themselves followed by Marion Uguen (N3)which took place facing Loa Chevallier (R4; 21-13, 21-13; 5-1).

The hardest part remained to be done, or almost, for the Amiens, who, to do better than in the first leg, had to win one of the two remaining confrontations. An opportunity to seize to avoid leaving the defensive bonus point to Lille. It is first Thomas Binois and Marie Lasquellec (R5/R4)opposed in mixed doubles 2 to Mauret/Watteau (R5/R6), who had the opportunity to drive the point home. Badly engaged (5-11), the Samarians managed to take the lead (15-12)and to maintain their lead at the end of the set (21-17)before converting their success in the second round (21-14; 6-1). On the other ground, Yvon Crépelle and Léo Crépin (N2) were facing Savini/Skotarek (N2/R6). The first act saw the Northerners convert their second opportunity (22-24)before the locals reacted perfectly (21-15). Beautifully, the two Amiens made the difference and concluded this meeting perfectly (21-14; 7-1)
