The Slavist B-team gathered for the first joint training in the new year on January 5 at Xaverov. The choice of coach Jelínek awaits two training camps and international preparatory matches.
Slavist B started their preparations for the spring part of the second league by training in the center on Xaverova on January 5.
“We were all very much looking forward to the start of training. We are going through two training sessions – first in Nymburk, where we are familiar with the environment and we know what to expect from it. The new one is the training session in Turkey, which we are very happy about. This option will provide us with even better conditions for training,” says head coach Jan Jelínek at the start of training.
Abel Cedergren, a new stitcher, also presented himself at Xaverov. Youth Adam Rajnoha, Jáchym Palivec, Isaiah Chinedu, Martin Palaščák, František Herák, Petr Potměšil and Matouš Srb also started training with the B-team.

On the contrary, Tobias Boledovič was no longer with the team, who was given permission to prepare in Pardubice. Similarly, Šimon Slončík, who started training in Karviná, Emmanuel Fully in Teplice and David Hájek in Vlašim. Their activities in new clubs are being adjusted.
The B-team underwent a change in the implementation team as well. Goalkeeper coach Jiří Lindr accepted an offer from Hradec Králové, where he became the goalkeeper coach of the A-team. He is replaced in the B-team by Ondřej Volšík, who has so far led the goalkeepers in the U20.
Goalkeeper Martin Berkovec also took on a new role, who became the goalkeeping coach of the second league team Vlašimi and thus ends up in the B-team.
“As far as the players are concerned, several players have headed to the league, which makes us happy. One of our goals is to move players up, and we are doing well. On the other hand, players from the younger categories will also join us for training, who will get a chance to prove themselves. In conclusion, I would like to thank Jiří Lindr, who is leaving our implementation team after accepting an offer from the first league, and also Martin Berkovec, who has decided to accept a coaching position challenge in Vlašim,” adds Jelínek.
Two training camps await the Slavist B team in preparation. First, the celebrants will go to Nymburk on January 10-15, then they will travel to Antalya, Turkey, on February 11-20.
Before the first spring league game, which will take place on March 1 in Radotín from 11:00 a.m. against Sparta B, the reserve team will challenge five opponents in preparatory games. We will provide a more detailed overview of the squad before the first training session.
