This Monday, January 12, is the date indicated on the calendar for the start of the Australian Open. And it will do so with the matches of the first round of the qualifying phase, which this Sunday held the draw for the draw that the contenders must go through to qualify for the ‘main draw’ of the first Grand Slam of the season.

Among all the members of the ‘qualy’ team there are six Argentines, five Spaniards, two Chileans, two Colombians, two Bolivians, one Peruvian and one Ecuadorian, that is, a total of 19 Hispanics present in Melbourne.
