The Grand Final against Alter Ego took place on Sunday in Jakarta with the Bo7 format.
Suara.com – The Grand Final stage of the M7 World Championship is ready to witness the clash of the two big poles of the world of Mobile Legends. If Indonesia has an Alter Ego which is full of surprises, the Philippines sent its best representative who appeared very dominant throughout the tournament, namely Aurora Gaming.
Aurora Gaming PH is not a random name in the competitive MPL PH (Philippines) scene. Even though it is a relatively new organization in terms of branding, this team is populated by veteran players and wonderkids who have a world champion mentality.
Their success in advancing to the Grand Final via the Upper Bracket route without losing proves that they are ready to compete mechanically with Alter Ego in the final round of M7 Mobile Legends which will be held on Sunday, December 25 2026 in Jakarta.
The Perfect Journey to the Grand Final
Aurora Gaming’s journey in the M7 World Championship could be said to be smooth, in contrast to Alter Ego which was quite bloody in the Lower Bracket. Since the group phase, Aurora Gaming has shown its fangs by sweeping all matches with a landslide score.
Entering the Knockout round, Aurora Gaming remained consistent in the Upper Bracket. They succeeded in defeating big teams from other regions, including representatives from Malaysia and Myanmar, with almost perfect team coordination.
A crucial win over Selangor Red Giants (3-2) took them to the final round. Luckily, they got more rest time and the opportunity to monitor Alter Ego’s strategy, which at that time was still struggling at the bottom.
Aurora Gaming’s playing style relies heavily on macro dominance. They rarely force unprofitable wars. Instead, they prefer to “strangle” the opponent’s movements through map control and disciplined taking of objectives (Turtle/Lord). This is the biggest challenge for Alter Ego; how to penetrate the solid defense of a team that almost never makes mechanical mistakes.
For esports fans, Aurora Gaming is the main antagonist who must be defeated in order to restore Indonesia’s supremacy on the world MLBB stage. The battle between Alter Ego’s creativity and Aurora Gaming’s discipline will certainly be one of the best finals in M-Series history.

Aurora Gaming’s main strength lies in the depth of its squad which is often dubbed the Filipino version of the “Galacticos” team.
The following is the profile of the Aurora Gaming team members that Alter Ego will face.
– Edward (EXP Lane): Nicknamed “Agent Zero”, Edward is the backbone of Aurora’s defense. As the previous holder of the world title in the M series, Edward’s experience in guarding the lane and doing set-up during team fights is the best in his class. He is very skilled at using tanky heroes like Terizla or Arlott.
– Demonkite (Jungle): The executor who returns to his peak performance. Demonkite is known as a jungler with very accurate objective calculations. His mastery of assassin heroes and utilities makes Aurora’s rotation difficult for opponents to predict.
– Yue (Mid Lane): “The Silent Killer” in the middle area. Yue has very neat positioning. The use of mage heroes with high burst damage such as Yve, Faramis, or Valentina often determines Aurora’s victory in the late game phase.
– Domeng (Gold Lane): Destruction machine on the side. Domeng is a type of gold laner who is very independent and rarely makes positional mistakes. His ability to farm quickly makes him always superior in networth compared to his opponents.
– Calad: The brains behind Aurora Gaming’s strategy. As a coach or trainer, Calad’s role is very crucial because he not only focuses on technical strategy, but also mental management and teamwork, especially when facing pressure in big tournaments.
Fierce Rematch
In fact, the match in the grand final of M7 Mobile Legends was not the first meeting for Aurora Gaming and Alter Ego. This is a re-meeting of a hot duel in the Upper Bracket.
