Auria Badminton: Book Courts at TOP TTR Santa Úrsula

After the intense last weekend, with the celebration of a round of the Second Gold and Second Territorial Division of the National Club League, the Auria Badminton Club competition team has an appointment this Saturday on the island of Tenerife. Six players from the club and three technicians make up the expedition that travels to compete in the TOP TTR Santa Úrsula, a level N7 tournament.

The TOP TTR Santa Úsula, organized by the CB Santa Úrsula Badnor, is held on Saturday at the Cho Pastor Pavilion facilities. The Auria Bádminton Club expedition on this occasion is made up of Hongwu Shi, Isaac Rincón, Kaiwen Shi, Aitami Fernández, Nerea Padrón and Yraya García. They will be accompanied by technicians Oliver Gausmann, Luis Miguel Alemán and Samuel Tarife.

In the men’s under-11 category, Isaac Rincón starts as the number one seed, and in the group stage he faces Gerald Santana and Gael González. In the same category, Hongwu Shi has as rivals Miguel Ortiz and Ángel Ancor González, a player who is the third seed in the tournament.

In the men’s under-15 category, Kaiwen Shi participates, who faces Antonio Peña and Rodrigo Suárez in the first phase, and Aitami Fernández, who has Eduardo Jesús González and Javier Peña as rivals. In the women’s under-15 category, Nerea Padrón has Emma Ramos and Carla Ramos as opponents, and Yraya García faces Laura Gómez and Yareima Morales, number one seed.

The Auria Bádminton Club players also participate in the doubles modality of the TOP TTR Santa Úrsula. Hongwu Shi will play the men’s doubles with Gael González (Tenzul El Rosario) and Isaac Rincón will have Marvin Plasencia (Tenzul El Rosario) as a partner. For his part, Kaiwen Shi competes in the mixed doubles with Nerea Infantes, and the other couple will be made up of Yraya García and Aitami Fernández.

The Auria Badminton Club expedition travels to Tenerife early on Saturday morning, planning to take the 07:00 flight to Tenerife North airport. The return, after an intense day of competition, is scheduled for the 10:10 p.m. flight.
