Asturian Badminton Derby – Tomorrow’s Match Preview

The Oviedo team is third in the table, with six points, and with the Gijón team at the bottom three points behind Alberto Zapico’s team.

On September 20, the Tejerona sports center in Gijón hosted the first Asturian derby in history in the honor division of Spanish Badminton. The second regional rivalry duel of the season between Club Bádminton Oviedo and Astures de Gijón moves tomorrow to the Corredoria Arena. It will be a match marked by losses in both teams, due to the international commitments of several of the players that make up both squads.

The two teams come to the duel after falling on the last day and with the Oviedo team third in the table, with six points, and with the Gijón team at the bottom three points behind Alberto Zapico’s team. The clash will begin the second round of the championship and will be the first that Club Badminton Oviedo plays at home this season, after having played the first four games away from the Corredoria Arena.
