Saturday January 10, 2026, Joshua Curtius played his last match under the colors of AS Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine). The defender would undoubtedly have preferred to end his Vitreous adventure with a victory. Unfortunately, theASV had to share the points with Lannion (1-1).
ASV loses a major player
After four seasons et more than 100 matches played with AS Vitré (N3), the 29 year old defender left the Brazilian club to sign for US Granville, red lantern of pool A in N2.
The signing was announced Monday January 12 by the Norman club.
Laurent Hervé loses a key player from his squad for the rest of the season. On its social networks, ASV thanked the defender this Tuesday, January 13.
Trained in SM Caen, Joshua Curtius played US Alençon, Tarbes Pyrénées, and US Saint-Malo before joining AS Vitré in 2022. Interviewed in November 2025 by The Vitré Journalthe player confided that he felt “good” in Vitré.
“The start of the season is good, certainly the best since I’ve been in Vitré. I try to always be operational, to play matches and help the team as much as possible. We have some great things to play for, so I hope we continue on this path,” said Joshua Curtius. The rest of his season will be written far from Vitré from now on.
