Premier League leaders Arsenal were beaten at home by Manchester United 3-2 in a spectacular match on Sunday (January 25) and saw their lead at the top reduced to four points over second-placed Manchester City. The Gunners had only lost two matches out of 26 (against Liverpool and Aston Villa), in all competitions, since the start of the season. They had not been beaten at home in the league since last May, against Bournemouth (2-1). Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha scored for new coach Michael Carrick’s team, which is in the midst of a revival.
