Last week, Quintus Badminton reflected on the 12.5-year anniversary of trainer Arless Tjin Asjoe. He has been the club’s regular trainer for over twelve years and provides weekly training on Wednesday evenings.

Every Wednesday evening Tjin Asjoe is present to first train the youth and then the competition players. Within the association he is known for his enthusiastic way of training and the personal attention he gives to players of all levels.

The number of participants on Wednesday evenings has grown in recent years. According to Tjin Asjoe, the basic principle applies: “the more people, the more people can train at their own level.” This approach is in line with the way Quintus Badminton wants to profile itself.

Tjin Asjoe calls Quintus Badminton a “warm club, where he feels very comfortable.” His efforts are not just limited to Wednesday evenings. He also regularly comes by on Friday evenings to give recreationists tips and tricks.

His long-term involvement and efforts are widely appreciated within the association. On the occasion of the anniversary, Quintus Badminton put the trainer in the spotlight last week.
