He arrives permanently from Medellin’s Independiente and has signed a contract until 30 June 2031. The Colombian is the emblem of the modern winger, suitable for playing in all lateral roles, as a fifth but also as a full-back in a four-man line and, if necessary, as a high winger.
Juan David Arizala was born in El Charco (Colombia) on 10 October 2005. He grew up in the youth sector of Independiente of Medellin with which he made his first team debut in 2023. He also accumulated playing time and experience at continental level in the Copa Sudamerican, in total, in two and a half years, he made 54 appearances scoring 3 goals in the championship, national cups and continental competitions.
Arizala is considered one of the best talents in South America in that role. He boasts 22 appearances with a goal scored with Colombia under 20 with whom he played a leading role in the World Cup a few months ago.
Now it’s time for him to start this new adventure by continuing the great tradition of the Cafeteros in black and white. He will wear the number 20 shirt.
