One day before facing Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey, the Albacete has reinforced its lead with the incorporation of Samu Obengcoming from Ceutawhich signs until June 2027 and becomes the first signing of the winter market for the Albacete team. With more than 170 games in the Silver category, the Ghanaian attacker spent a few years in the training categories of Getafe and later played for several Catalan soccer teams.
In 2018 he ended up in the Calahorrathus making his debut in Spanish bronze football, where he played 28 games in one season, scoring seven goals and earning a contract with the Real Oviedo discipline in the summer of 2019. Although he arrived with the blue reserve team, Samu Obeng did not take long to gain a place in the first team and, consequently, in LaLiga Hypermotion.
In his first year he played 18 official matches with the Real Oviedo in which he spent a total of three and a half seasons and participated in 116 official matches and scoring 15 goals.
In January 2023 he joined the ranks of the Huescain which he spent a season and a half, playing 56 games and scoring 11 goals.
In the 2024-2205 season he played abroad, the first part in Pious Houseof the highest Portuguese category, and immediately afterwards in the Wydad and from Morocco.

Last summer he returned to Spanish football with Ceuta, from where he landed in the squad, training this morning with the white first team and tomorrow he will be part of the squad for the Copa del Rey match against Real Madrid.
