Women’s Serie C: Tough Loss, but Promising Signs
the Alassio women’s serie C team faced a tough challenge against the league-leading Amatori Savona. Despite a strong overall performance, a crucial dip in the third quarter proved costly, leading to a 67-50 defeat. However,the team showed notable positive indications,demonstrating resilience and competitive spirit against the top-ranked squad. Youth divisions: Mixed Fortunes and Growing Pains
The Under 17 GOLD Men’s team saw their anticipated return from the holiday break postponed due to their opponents’ no-show. Meanwhile, the Under 17 WOMEN’s squad secured a significant victory, defeating Cestistica Savonese, a team known for its strong standing. The Alassinas displayed remarkable control, limiting the typical late-game slumps that have plagued them. We deservedly achieved our sixth success of the season, confirming ourselves among the best teams of the year in Liguria,

In the Under 15 EXCELLENCE Piedmont league, the Ponentini notched their sixth win of the season, maintaining a lead for the entire 40 minutes against Saluzzo. This victory,achieved in a highly competitive championship,underscores the team’s tenacity. In this very tough championship we achieved the sixth success of the season with a tied balance and several yellow reports arrived with minimal differences, a sign of the competitiveness of our team,

The PIEMONTE CSI STUDENTS faced a formidable opponent in Carmagnola, ultimately falling 57-34. Despite the loss, the Alassine players battled hard for the full game against a physically imposing team. The focus now shifts to improving their performance against such strong competition in future matchups.
The Under 13 NBA team delivered a stellar performance, securing a decisive 76-36 victory over Imperia. The young squad played exceptionally well for the entire game, showcasing a level of skill that belied the final score against a more challenging opponent. Mini Basketball: building Future Stars
The youngest members of the Alassio basketball family also saw action. The 2014-15 mini basketball players from Alassio-Borghetto-Le Torri enjoyed a prosperous outing in Imperia,winning all their matchups. This program is focused on fostering teamwork and preparing these young athletes for the transition to youth basketball. The group is becoming more and more close-knit and we are happy with this because the main objective is to prepare the group for the next few years by taking it in small steps from mini-basketball to youth basketball,

the SQUIRRELS-DRAGONFLIES (born 2017-18) participated in a lively tournament in loano. Playing against Ceriale and Loano, the Alassini demonstrated the true spirit of mini-basketball, with plenty of playing time, games, and smiles all around. These early experiences are crucial for developing a lifelong love for the game.
