This Sunday, January 11, two archery competitions were held in Occitanie, in Carcassonne and Pérols, bringing together many archers from across the region.
On this occasion, the representatives of the Agde club once again carried the Agathois colors high by signing several leading performances and climbing onto the podium several times.
Carcassonne hall competition
Organized in Carcassonne (11), this indoor competition brought together numerous archers in different categories, offering a great regional confrontation.
Results of the Agde archers:
- Lou Anne Mogenot achieved a very good performance by taking 2nd place in the U18 Women’s Recurve category, confirming her potential.
- Loïc Dupuy finished 5th in Senior 2 Men’s Recurve Bow, at the end of a tough competition against strong competition.
Pérols qualifying competition
The Pérols competition saw a strong participation with more than a hundred archers entered.
The Agde archers particularly shone there, particularly in barebow.
Very good results for Agde:
Barebow – Women:
- Anne-Barbara Bénard wins and climbs to the highest step of the podium in Senior 3 Women’s Arc Nu.
- Séverine Fernandez obtained a 4th place in Senior 2 Women’s Bare Bow, at the end of a competitive competition.
Barebow – Men:
- Christel Puig took a superb 1st place in Senior 3 Men’s Bare Bow, confirming the club’s excellent dynamic.
- Éric Bénard finished 4th in the same category, close to the podium.
A very positive weekend for Agde
With several podiums and numerous places of honor, the Agde archers leave this Sunday of competition with a very encouraging result.
These results demonstrate the seriousness of the work carried out at the club and the commitment of the archers throughout the indoor season.
