Apparently, the new national sport of United States seems to have become the picking on Drakewith all due respect to baseball and football. We all know the now legendary war between the Canadian musician and actor and Kendrick Lamarfought with musical insults, complaints and lawsuits. Apparently, however, a new player may have entered the game: A$AP Rocky.
The rapper did not hold back Stole Ya Flowa song from his new album Don’t Be Dumbreleased yesterday, which sounds a lot like a diss track towards Drake, a topic he already addressed in a recent podcast. In the New York Times Popcastpublished on Thursday 14 January, Rocky said he was ready for the web to take it for granted that his colleague was the target of the song. “I think we all know that” he said about the song’s subject matter.
The singer did not give exhaustive explanations regarding the reasons for their enmity, but said he did not feel the need to clarify. Although, regarding Stole Ya Flow, he said: “It’s for anyone who feels like it’s about them,” the verses seem to speak clearly. The piece is littered with quotes and jokes with rather obvious allusions and clues.

What causes discussion, in particular, is the verse “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo b—h … My baby mama Rihanna, so we unbothered.”, which would be a clear reference to the alleged (and past) liaison between RihannaRocky’s current partner, and Drake.
In the early 2000s, the tabloids had repeatedly spoken of a possible flirtation between the pop star and the rapper, without, however, being absolutely certain. In the end, it was Drake himself who openly revealed that he had feelings for the singer and creator of Fenty Beautybut that it was not reciprocated. In 2018, during an interview for VogueRiri had claimed that she had not been friends with her for a long time. At this point, all that remains is to wait for a diss from the latter. And, who knows? Maybe Drake could work a miracle and bring Rihanna back to the recording studio after ten years of absence.
