Thai mixed doubles, Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran won the 2026 India Open final against another nightmare Chinese representative.

JUARA.NET – The 2026 India Open final featured a derby between two Chinese nightmares which was won by Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran.

The Thai pair faced Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje, Sunday (18/1/2026) at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi, India.

Christiansen/Boje came into the match as underdogs.

Apart from losing rankings, they also lost in the last meeting.

However, they showed solid resistance from the first game.

Having been 1-5 behind, they managed to equalize the score at 5-5.

Puavarukroh/Paewsampran regained control of the match after their lead was destroyed.

Unmitigated, both of them maintained their lead until the interval, 11-7.

In a situation where they were left behind, Christiansen/Boje seemed to have managed to find their footing again.
