Union has made an offer for Besfort Zeneli. Zeneli is a Swedish international who currently plays for Elfsborg.
Union is looking for reinforcement during the winter break and is prioritizing an extra midfielder. According to Swedish sources, it has made an offer of four million euros for Zeneli, who has now collected five caps for Sweden. German and Italian clubs are also said to be interested in signing Zeneli.
Officially, the transfer market in Belgium will not open until January 6. Union is currently in the lead with three points ahead of Club Brugge. It will play its last match of the calendar year on Friday against Cercle Brugge.
