Zapala Sports Schools: 3,000+ Participants | Municipality of Zapala

Physical activity, sports and learning were present in another passing year. The free sports schools were very well received by residents of all ages.

The almost 40 alternatives that the Municipality provided through the Sports Secretariat captured the attention and interest of the Zapalinos. Throughout the four registration periods, 3,290 registered for activities ranging from the most popular sports to those that are on the rise.

This year, the schools were football, futsal, badminton, handball, figure skating, skating, judo, self-defense, ITF taekwondo, WTF taekwondo, boxing, aerobox, functional, climbing and skiing, trekking, cycling, recreational activities, early care, pilates mat, squash, skateboarding, tennis, table tennis, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, fabrics, jumping, rhythms, volleyball, hockey, athletics, yoga, recreation and health, newcom, shuffleboard, tec. and women’s 11-a-side football preparation.

Registration began in February with the usual interest of those who are already interested in certain sports, as well as young people and adults who wanted to add new experiences, and invest their leisure time in physical activity.

It is worth remembering that the schedule of activities was designed for people of all ages and levels, with the main objective of promoting health, well-being and camaraderie through physical activity.

Already in November this proposal began to be said goodbye, to make way for what will be the 2026 Vacation Colony, which is about to begin.
