Yangdong Basketball: 2025 Cadre Games Begin

　　At the opening ceremony, Lei Zhenjie pointed out in his speech that Yangdong District uses basketball as a medium to build a platform for communication, interaction and display of style. This is not only a grand event of sports competition, but also a measure to inherit the spirit of the “15th National Games” and promote the deep integration of “culture, tourism and sports”. It will further enhance unity and collaboration among cadres and demonstrate the high-spirited and enterprising spirit of department-level cadres in the new era.

　　Then, the referees and athlete representatives took solemn oaths respectively, promising to strictly abide by the rules of the game, promote sportsmanship, and ensure that the game is fair, just, and open.

　　Zou Chunying announced the opening of the event. Subsequently, the party-mass line team and the economic and development line team launched an intense duel, pushing the atmosphere of the match to a climax.

　　It is understood that this competition is sponsored by the District Civilization Office, the District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and hosted by the Dongda Youth Sports Club of Yangdong District. A total of 20 teams with more than 200 athletes participated, of which each town formed a team based on the town, a total of 11 teams; the district-affiliated units organized teams according to lines, divided into 9 teams including the party-mass line and the government line. The event is divided into two stages: preliminary and finals. The preliminary round adopts a group round-robin system for group ranking. The top two teams in the group advance to the second stage of cross-finals. This competition will last until December 31st.
