Yancheng Revises Regulations on Prevention and Control of Dust Pollution
Recently, the 33rd meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth People’s Congress of Yancheng City voted to amend the “Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Dust Pollution in Yancheng City” and the new regulations will come into effect on December 8. This revision optimizes and adjusts a number of prevention and control measures. For example, the road sprinkling operation conditions were adjusted from “temperature above zero degrees Celsius” to “above 2 degrees Celsius”, which is more in line with actual operation needs; it was clarified that urban main roads and elevated roads should be mechanized cleaning to promote refined cleaning operations. In terms of legal liability, the penalties for randomly stacking and throwing decoration waste will be greatly increased, and construction units can be fined up to one million yuan to further strengthen legal deterrence.
There is new progress in the Yanyi Railway Yangtze River Tunnel
A few days ago, the construction of the main structure of the shield starting shaft of the Yangtze River Tunnel of the Yantai-Xinji-Changyi Railway Project started.
As a regional connection line in the national high-speed railway network, the Yan-Yi Railway is a key component of the Yan-Hangzhou Passage in Jiangsu Province’s “six vertical and six horizontal” high-speed railway network. It starts from the Yancheng Station of the Xuyan High-speed Railway, passes through Yancheng, Taizhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and other cities in Jiangsu Province, and finally connects to the Yixing Station of the Nanjing-Hangzhou High-speed Railway. The new main line has a total length of approximately 311 kilometers and a total of 10 stations.
The Yanyi Railway Yangtze River Tunnel is the only cross-river tunnel on the entire Yanyi Railway. It connects Jingjiang City to the north and Jiangyin City to the south. It is 8,130 meters long and is located about 3.8 kilometers downstream of the Jiangyin Bridge. It adopts a single-hole, double-track design and has a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
