“I’m not here to look for definitions (about the game). We know where we are and we have the necessary self-criticism to improve. We know it is not our level. The priority was to win the game. We want to start 2026 going for everything”, he continued aware that the public had not left the Bernabéu happy.
Xabi asks for context
The Real Madrid coach wanted the many casualties he has had lately to be taken into account. “We arrived with many casualties, The boys are making a great effort. Fede couldn’t be there finally, Eduardo was right. I don’t stick with today’s level because I know that in the future we can improve. My mood doesn’t change. I am critical in a constructive way and put context of where we came from,” he added.
