The fan group Football Supporters Europe (FSE) asked FIFA this Thursday (11) to suspend the sale of tickets for the 2026 World Cup due to their prices, which they consider abusive.
According to the FSE, tickets for the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico, which will be held between June 11 and July 19, will cost almost five times more than those for the 2022 edition, held in Qatar.
“Football Supporters Europe is outraged by the exorbitant ticket prices imposed by FIFA on dedicated fans for next year’s FIFA World Cup,” the organization said in a statement.
