Join us every Thursday morning for an energising female-only badminton session at the John Bunyan Centre in partnership with Bedford Borough Council and GLL, Betterdesigned to provide a safe and welcoming space for women of all abilities to get active, have fun, and build confidence.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned player, these sessions are for you!

We know how hard it can be to find culturally sensitive and women-only fitness spaces, so we’re here to change that—together.

🕗 Time: 10am – 11am

📍 Location: Better, John Bunyan Sports & Fitness, Mile Road, Bedford, MK42 9TS4

Pay as you play, £2 per session

Age Group: 16yrs+

Skill Level: Complete beginners welcome

Equipment Needed: Please bring your own rackets if you have one, we will provide shuttlecocks. Wear suitable clothing and appropriate footwear. Please also bring a bottle of water. , wear suitable clothing and appropriate footwear. Please also bring a bottle of water.

Booking & Attendance:

• All sessions must be booked in advance, no walk-ins.

• All questions on the registration form must be completed with accurate and adequate information. Incomplete submissions may be cancelled.

• Emergency contact / next of kin details are required.

Leader Name: Shapna Khanam (Female Badminton Coordinator)

Cancellation/Refund Policy: All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once paid, the session cannot be rolled over to another date if you are unable to attend.

However, the organiser reserves the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
