Just over six weeks before the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, the French selection is slowly taking shape. This Tuesday, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) revealed the names of the first selected for the competition in Italy.
Ice hockey teams are affected, as are speed skating, figure skating and ski mountaineering. Nine biathletes were also selected, including Lou Jeanmonnot, in very good shape at the start of the season and at the top of the general World Cup rankings. Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Julia Simon, Camille Bened and Océane Michelon complete the selection.

Figure skating: Lorine Schild, Kevin Aymoz, Adam Siao Him Fa, Geoffrey Brissaud, Evgeniia Lopareva, Guillaume Cizeron, Laurence Fournier Beaudry, Pavel Kovalev, Camille Kovalev.
On the men’s side, Éric Perrot, 2nd in the World Cup, will lead the French team with Quentin Fillon Maillet, Émilien Jacquelin and Fabien Claude. Several medals are expected during these biathlon events.
