Best on the field: William Gomes (grade 7)
After being decisive in the reception to Estoril, at Estádio do Dragão, the Brazilian winger was once again in the spotlight in Tondela, always being the most non-conformist element on the field of the blue and white side. In the first half there was a move in which he tried to aim at Tondela’s goal, but Bernardo Fontes denied him the goal with a great stretch. At the beginning of the second half, after Samu’s opening goal, he managed to put pressure on the Beirões goalkeeper as the ball passed and won the ball and made it 0-2, sentencing the match and leaving the thousands of Porto fans behind the Tondelenses goal in genuine joy. It was always an arrow aimed at the opposite area and ended up leaving quite early only due to clear physical management made by Francesco Farioli.
Diogo Costa (5) — Night of minimal service from the FC Porto captain, who in the first half was compromising with a bad pass with his feet, leaving the ball at the mercy of Ouattara Moudjatovic. Then it was Hugo Félix trying to surprise the Portuguese international in midfield.
Alberto (6) — After the first 45 minutes in which I was quite hidden, he came in full force in the second half and actually won the corner that resulted in Samu’s goal. Selfless in favor of the collective, he left early under the management of Francesco Farioli.
Bednarek (7) — Most of FC Porto’s build-up moves came from their passes, always at a low pace, but always looking for passing lines between lines. He never allowed pretensions to his direct markers.
Kiwior (7) — This Polish international is a great security guard. He was in evidence in the first goal, heading to a tight save by Bernardo Fontes, with Samu, on the rebound, not forgiving. Great deep passing ability.
Francisco Moura (5) — Less sharp than usual, he rarely ventured into offensive actions, but at least he made two dangerous crosses into the area, which did not have the proper sequence due to the reliefs of the opposing central defenders. He ended up getting a yellow card unnecessarily.

Froholdt (7) — The Dane performed another beautiful display with the dragon on his chest. A lot of dedication throughout the match, giving successive stretches with the aim of surprising Tondela on the counterattack. Tireless, he ran for kilometers and was always one of the strongest links in Francesco Farioli’s team.
Alan Varela (6) — Neutralized by Hugo Félix, who always tried to prevent the Argentine from going forward into the game, he began to gradually free himself from his bonds and help the team gain meters on the field. It is still not at the level of what has already been seen this season.
Rodrigo Mora (6) — With Gabri Veiga still somewhat physically weakened, the young prodigy trained at Olival was once again in the starting line-up and in the first half he wanted to be a protagonist, but FC Porto’s lack of intensity did not favor him. Still, he had some important moves and scored a goal that was disallowed by 25 centimetres.
Samu (7) — Despite continuing to show some difficulty in giving the team an associative game, it ended up being lethal in the Tondela area. In the 13th minute, Bernardo Fontes denied a shot that sealed a goal. Then, when opening the second half, he scored a goal from the strike and could have increased his personal score.
Pepê (6) — Indifferent to the personal problems that bother him, he played a safe game, managing, above all, in the first half, to make two dangerous passes in which he put teammates in front of the goal.
Pablo Rosario (5) — He clearly entered with the objective of helping to maintain the two-goal lead and accomplished his mission perfectly.
Borja Sainz (6) — He brought more energy to FC Porto’s attack and the third goal could have come from his feet, but the ball went over the crossbar.
Deniz Gul (5) — Added a few minutes after injury, but didn’t have much time to show his service.
Ángel Alarcón (4) — Another game in which the young Spaniard earned the trust of the Italian coach.
Martim Fernandes (—) Replaced Alberto just to give the starter a rest. Then he helped to hold on to a precious advantage.
