After missing 12 games, Victor Wembanyama came off the injured list to appear as “probable” ahead of Saturday’s NBA Cup semifinal in Las Vegas, according to the San Antonio Spurs’ latest medical report Friday.

Hit in the left calf on November 14 against the Golden State Warriors, Wembanyama (21) has not played since, missing 12 games after shining in the first 12 games of the 2025-2026 financial year.

After encouraging statements from his coach Mitch Johnson on Wednesday, revealing that he had notably resumed 5-on-5 oppositions in training, the Spurs placed their French jewel on the “probable” list on Friday before the gala match against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.

Wembanyama saw his second NBA season end in mid-February due to venous thrombosis. After a successful start to the season, his left calf injury caused him to experience another setback.
