José Faria praised Benfica’s signing of Sidny Cabral. The former Estrela da Amadora coach assured that the Eagles made a good signing and that the deal ended up not being very surprising:
«It ends up being a mix of a small surprise, but I don’t think so, despite having this idea, the player’s quality and ability, what he would demonstrate, what he proved, it doesn’t seem to me, I think it’s surprising in some way and I think it ends up being a good signing for Benfica», he told Rádio Renascença.
José Faria also spoke about Sidny Cabral’s qualities in the Benfica squad:
