Winner of seven ‘Grandes’ individually, Venus Williams made her marriage official with the Italian actor and former model Andrea Preti during a five-day ceremony in florida, after they celebrated a symbolic wedding in September Italia.
The EFE agency indicated that the new couple went to a court in Florida last Friday to legalize their union, and on Saturday they celebrated the wedding with their closest family and friends at a residence that the tennis player owns in Palm Beach, according to Williams’ statements to Vogue magazine.

“The wedding ceremony was the culmination of five days of festivities that included trips on a yacht sponsored by serena williams younger sister of Venus and winner of 23 grand slams, dinners in high-level restaurants or a sporting afternoon practicing volleyball, pickleball and obstacle courses,” he said.

And he added: “Venus Williams, 45, explained to the aforementioned magazine that she had ten custom-made dresses made for the occasion, including one conceived by the Lebanese fashion designer Georges Hobeika. Williams and Preti, of 37, met during the Week of the Fashion in Milan in September 2024 and they both felt a crush, according to the athlete.”

Venus confessed to Vogue that her sister had given them a yacht, which housed some of the wedding guests.

“Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she organized all the food, everything. We had between ten and twelve of our closest family and friends who were in the city on the boat,” Venus said.
“We were singing, dancing, gossiping and just enjoying each other,” the tennis player said.

The couple celebrated their second wedding due to problems with the paperwork for their Italian ceremony. The paperwork can take up to eight months to become official, but that problem is avoided with the wedding in Florida, stated EFE.
