The UNIGE badminton team wins the Swiss university championships

The University of Geneva team ranked number one among Swiss university badminton championshipswhich took place in Berne, Wednesday December 3.

Student of the Master of Science in Global Health (Global Studies Institute), Indira Dickhäuseur25, won the gold medal in women’s singles.

Aged 24, student of 4e year of the Faculty of Medicine, Alan Tejerina was, for his part, awarded the silver medal in the men’s singles.

Finally, the pair consisting ofIndira Dickhäuseur and of Cleo Latellastudent of 3e year of the Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences (Faculty of Medicine), won the silver medal in women’s doubles.

Thanks to this magnificent performance, the UNIGE team obtained its ticket to participate in the European University Championships which will take place in Italy at the end of July 2026.
