In the midst of the title race in D1 ACFF, Royale Union Tubize-Braine could lose two key players, Zakaria Nadrani and Allan Tshimanga, to the benefit of its main rival, RAEC Mons. Furthermore, the future of coach Drazen Brncic is also uncertain.
The Royale Union Tubize-Braine and the RAEC Mons are definitely not letting go of each other in D1 ACFF. While the Dragons fell against the third, Virton, on Saturday, the RUTB was beaten on the lawn of the great surprise of the season, Habay-la-Neuve, on Sunday.
But unlike Mons, Tubize-Braine did not only lose three points this weekend. Zakaria Nadrani, who spoke to Walfoot.be a fortnight ago, and Allan Tshimanga, two key players in the eyes of Drazen Brncic, were absent from the match sheet. They are in reality in the process of being transferred… to Mons, Tubize-Braine’s big competitor in the title race.
“It’s a hard blow, yes. But if some people think they will be better off elsewhere, there’s no point in keeping them, it’s better that they leave. I’m not a fan of the winter transfer window, but we’re going to have to recruit accordingly,” regretted Drazen Brncic speaking to our colleagues at La Derniere Heure.
Tubize-Braine had not planned this
RUTB T1 will therefore have to find solutions. “I am already studying the profiles that have been sent to us,” he assured. But will he himself remain on the bench after the New Year? Nothing is less certain.
Indeed, the former coach of RFC Liège, RWDM and Seraing would have been contacted by Sporting Charleroi, who must recreate a new staff after the departure of Rik de Mil. Zebra from 1995 to 1998 during his playing career, Drazen Brncic kicked in: “If I was asked? I think several coaches were. For the moment, I’m still in Tubize,” he declared.
If none of this information is yet official, it is perhaps a serious earthquake that is about to hit the title race in D1 ACFF. The winter transfer window will open on January 6, from which date transfers can be finalized.
