On Tuesday, “TTT Rīga” defeated “TTT Juniores” in the Latvian Women’s Basketball League (LSBL) first division game at home with the result 95:76 (22:15, 34:29, 20:17, 19:15).
Madara Šmite stood out for the winners with 21+10 points, while Tina Gause scored 19 points. Marta Ploriņa scored 19 points for the opponents, while Līva Hermane scored 11.
This was the third LSBL game of the season for the TTT Rīga team and they have won all of them, while the TTT Juniors have had two successes in four games.
“TTT Rīga”, “Liepāja”/LSSS, RSU, “TTT Juniores”, “Daugavpils University” and Jaunatnes national team play in the top league of the Latvian Women’s Basketball League. Eight teams are playing in the LSBL second division tournament – Ventspils sports school “Spars”, “Jūrmala”, “TTT Kadetes”, RSU-2, “Bertānu Valmiera basketball school”, “Cēsis”/Cēsi PSS, “Jelgava”/BJSS and Tallinn’s “Audentes Sports Gymnasium”.
