In Santo Domingo, Pedro Severino tied the game with a pinch-hit three-run homer in the eighth inning, and Junior Lake solved it with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth. Thus, the Leones del Esgido left the Águilas scattered on the field and achieved a dramatic 9-8 victory.

Dramatic victory of Bravos over Leones in Venezuela

Brainer Bonaci drove in two runs with a double to cap a three-run rally in the top of the 10th inning, which gave the Lions a 5-2 lead. However, the lack of control of their relievers ruined the result.

After receiving an RBI single from Alexi Amarista and loading the bases, Norwith Gudiño walked Ramón Flores to reduce the difference to one run. The Lions called up reliever Anthony Vizcaya, who walked Roel Santos and José Martínez consecutively, thus decreeing an anticlimactic end to the game.

In Barquisimeto, Alejandro Mejía, Ildemaro Vargas and Danry Vázquez hit RBI singles to lead the Cardenales de Lara to a 5-2 victory over the Tiburones de La Guaira.

The Águilas del Zulia defeated the Tigres de Aragua 5-2 in Maracay. José Pirela drove in a run with a double, while Eduardo Torrealba and Rayder Ascanio had RBI singles.
