Vigevano, 3 December 2025 – He had a violent altercation with a taxi driver, it seems for banal traffic issues. But instead of limiting himself to words, as often happens, he got out of his car brandishing a stickalthough some of the numerous witnesses who witnessed the episode reported that it was a baseball bat, shattering the windows of the car.
The taxi driver, 40 years old, fortunately did not suffer any particular consequences but was still theretaken to the emergency room from the Vigevano hospital by a Blue Cross ambulance and admitted under green code.

The eventful episode occurred yesterday morning around 11.15am at the crossroads between Via Brigate Partigiane and Corso Brodoliniin a semi-central area of the city. Corso Brodolini in particular is a busy artery in the internal area of the town and something must have happened there that triggered the motorist’s intemperance. The altercation would have degenerated very quickly and the driver, regardless of the fact that at that moment there were many people in the area able to testify to what had happened, literally lost his temper and it hit the taxi driver and then his vehicle causing damage that has not yet been quantified.
The alarm was immediate and the carabinieri, the local police and a police squad arrived on the scene. The state police will be responsible for shedding light on what happened.
The reconstruction
According to a very first reconstruction of the facts there would have been an argument, which very quickly degenerated and was linked to road issues. At first there was also talk of the use of stinging spray by the attacker or the taxi driver, but at the moment this detail has not been confirmed.
However, the attacker was identified by police officers and his position is currently being examined by investigators. For now, no complaints have been formalized but it is not excluded that, in light of new elements gathered in recent hours, they could be filed against the attacker.
The traffic long Brodolini course has suffered slowdowns because the conspicuous presence of rescuers and law enforcement required that the vehicular flow be regulated. The situation normalized shortly after midday.
