On the dramatic day in Sydney, with 10 people killed in the attack on Bondi Beach during the Jewish holiday of Hannukkah, the gesture of a man who tackles one of the attackers and disarms him stands out. Videos released on social media show an attacker firing a rifle. Among the parked cars, a man appears and surprises the terrorist from behind. After a brief struggle, the citizen takes possession of the rifle. The attacker moves away towards a bridge where his accomplice is lurking, while the citizen places his rifle on the ground waiting for the police.
