New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs faces serious allegations. Charges have been brought against the NFL professional on allegations of strangulation and bodily harm. According to police, the alleged crime occurred at the beginning of December. The allegations became public on Tuesday after a court hearing in Dedham, Massachusetts.
Diggs’ lawyer David Meier called the allegations in US media reports “unfounded and unsubstantiated.” The Patriots said they would “continue to gather information and cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary.”
