Only 10th in the standings, Stade Rochelais is coming off a great performance against Bayonne, swept aside 49-17. A great success which put an end to a series of three defeats in a row in the Top 14. Ronan O’Gara’s men are only three points behind 4th place occupied by Stade Français.
Toulouse can become leader again!
After Pau’s victory without bonus against Montpellier, Stade Toulousain can regain its place as leader of the Top 14 in the event of an enhanced success this Sunday. A first place that the Rouge et Noir had lost after the sanction of two points in the ranking inflicted in the Jaminet affair. “It’s a good time for us to throw ourselves into battle in a very determined way”launched assistant coach Clément Poitrenaud, who affirms that his men must “party on the field”.
