Sprengers to Esbjerg: Handball Star’s Transfer

Zoë Sprengers immediately transfers to the Danish top club Esbjerg. The 25-year-old handball player, who was active with the Dutch team at the World Cup in his own country last month, comes from Nykøbing, which also plays in the Danish competition.

With Nykøbing, Sprengers was third in the standings, Esbjerg leads the rankings in Denmark. Esbjerg also often competes for prizes at European level. In the past two years, the Danish top club finished third in the Champions League.
