Slot on Salah: Future Uncertain After Shocking Statement

Mohamed Salah (33) paid the price for the decline in form when he was benched again by Arn Slot (47). Instead of accepting the unfavorable situation with nobility, he openly leaned on the Liverpool coach, which shook the football world. The Dutch coach retorted forcefully. Although Salah implied that the relationship between the two important players at the club had deteriorated, Slot did not share this view. Well, at least until the fateful conversation. “Until Saturday night, I didn’t feel that way at all. When a coach doesn’t build someone, usually the players don’t like him very much. But he was very respectful to my co-workers, his teammates and trained really hard,” he continued.

“It was somewhat of a surprise for me when I heard the comments he made after the game. But like I said, it’s not the first or last time a non-playing footballer has said something like that. I don’t know if it was because of emotions,” added Slot.

Sloto’s reaction is strong, he did not rule out Salah’s finish

Salah was aware of his position when criticizing the coach. As the club’s superstar, his words could have far-reaching consequences, especially at a time when the team’s performances have made Sloto’s coaching chair seem a bit wobbly. The Dutch pilot had to respond somehow.

“I think my response to that is clear as well, and that he’s not with us tonight.” Slot said.
