In the 19th round of the first league, Slavia beat Jablonec 4:3 at home. The defending champion from Eden remained the only undefeated team in the competition and at the head of the incomplete table has an eight-point lead over the second-placed Sparta, which awaits Sunday’s duel with Liberec. Prague led three times, the visitors managed to equalize three times. Tomáš Chorý scored the winning goal in the 71st minute with the second shot of the match, who with nine goals reached the top of the scorers’ table with Olomouc’s Daniel Vašulín.
Slavia beat Jablonec at home in the league for the ninth time in a row. At its stadium in the top competition, it conceded three times in one game for the first time since May, when it also defeated Pilsen 4:3. Jablonec lost for the second time in the last five rounds, they are third in the table by two points behind Sparta.
After Tuesday’s 0:3 defeat at the Tottenham stadium in the Champions League, coach Slavie Trpišovský made three changes to the starting line-up.
