Slovak hockey player Juraj Slafkovský helped Montreal win 6:2 on the ice of Boston with a goal and an assist on Wednesday night in the NHL.
Defender Martin Fehérváry was also in action, as Washington lost to the New York Rangers 3:7.
Calgary, without the injured Slovak forwards Martin Pospíšil and Samuel Honzek, lost to home team Edmonton 1:5.
Leon Draisaitl scored a hat trick in the Oilers jersey, Connor McDavid had five assists.

The Canadiens decided their triumph in the final period, which they won 4-0. Slafkovský assisted Nick Suzuki’s goal in the 51st minute in a two-man power play, when after his good work in front of the opponent’s goal, the Montreal captain put the puck into the net from close range.
Two minutes later, he scored his 11th goal of the season to complete the scoring of the game. Lane Hutson found him in the offensive zone with a cross pass, and the Slovakian striker beat Jeremy Swayman in the Bruins goal with a shot from the first point of the circle.
In addition to two Canadian points, Slafkovský also scored one plus, two shots on goal, two points and a total of 16 penalty minutes in 18:19 minutes on the ice – two for illegal defending, two for roughing, and finally two for holding and a 10-minute personal penalty for unsportsmanlike behavior after a fight with Nikit Zadorov.
The 21-year-old Slovak winger has 25 points (11+14) after 37 games of the season.
Defenders Hutson and Noah Dobson participated in the win with three assists, in addition to Slafkovský, Suzuki and Ivan Demidov also had a balance of 1+1.
The Russian attacker has already collected 30 points in 36 games, the fastest among rookies in a season in the club’s history since Gilbert Dionne from 1991/93 (33 duels).
Experienced center Phillip Danault played his first game after being traded from Los Angeles for the Canadiens. The “Habs” are doing well, in the last four meetings they have won seven out of a possible eight points.
