Skuhravý Salary: Slovácko Pay Revealed

The Seznam Zprávy portal was the first to draw attention to the fact that the former representative asked the court for debt relief.

Although the news spread across the Internet and affected most supporters throughout the country, they do not see it as a problem in Slovakia.

In the club, they continue to prepare not only for the last match of the year in Teplice, they deal with the strengthening of the team, changes in the staff, winter training and other regular agenda. Skuhravy’s debts are not discussed at all at the Municipal Stadium of Miroslav Valenta senior, they are certainly not the number one topic in the run-up to Christmas.

“This is exclusively a personal matter of Mr. Tomáš Skuhravý, which 1.FC Slovácko does not comment on. For legal and ethical reasons, the club does not state or confirm the amount of employees’ salaries. Mr. Skuhravý continues to exercise his position as a sports manager, and the said fact has no impact on his work at the club or on the running of 1.FC Slovácko,” club press spokesman Marek Jurák told Deník.

However, the management of Slovácko is trying to help the former player of Sparta, Genoa or Sporting Lisbon in a difficult situation. After all, that is also why he arrived in eastern Moravia from Italy, where he lived for many years.

The new co-owner of Slovácko, Pavel Buráň, from the Auto UH group, who now owns 25 percent of the club, offered him the job.

According to the employment contract, which is freely accessible in the insolvency register, Skuhravý receives 24,000 kroner per month for the work performed in Slovácko. The contract was concluded in October for an indefinite period, with a trial period of four months.

Skuhravý alev also signed another agreement on the execution of auxiliary administrative work. For five hours a week, he collects an additional five thousand crowns a month.

The legendary gunner even represented the businessman for a while on the four-member club board of directors. At the same time, it is still not clear where they actually know each other.

“I am grateful to him for the chance he gave me. I see Slovácko as a club that has built up proper respect in Czech football over twenty-five years of activity, and I approach my role with this awareness,” said Skuhravý after arriving in Moravia.

When he arrived in Uherské Hradiště, it was a shock for many people. Not only at league matches, but also in neighboring Kunovice during home matches of third league reserves, they met a former representative, a familiar face.

He was mostly in the company of sports director Velič Šumulikoský. He also went to training sessions with him. But he only came to the dressing room for the players when the club management introduced him. He stays away during and after matches.

The footballer of 1991 always observes the action on the field from afar. He is always among the audience, he does not hide in any way. He usually smokes a few cigarettes during the match. He also went to youth matches, but he doesn’t talk to the coaches at work.

If there is interest, he will be happy to share his observations.

But there is no danger of him ordering or dictating anything to anyone.

Even so, it will surprise everyone that a fighter with such a past officially earns less than 30,000 crowns a month in Slovakia, according to the data that became public thanks to Bomber’s request for debt relief.

People just smile at this amount. Although Slovácko is not one of the richest clubs in the Chance League, it is not bad.

It is understood that it is precisely because of the debts that Skuhravy receives additional money in cash, on hand.

However, only the co-owner Buráň and Skuhravý know exactly what it is, who also has an agreement to carry out work in the amount of five thousand for the Araver CZ company and as a bonus uses a company car or the Fabrika hotel, where he eats and sleeps. All at the expense of Burána.

The five-time league champion’s role in the club is not essential at all. He lost his seat on the board after less than three months. He was replaced by financial director Zdeněk Heneš.

An experienced manager with more than twenty years of experience in the top management of companies across industry, agriculture and construction, he was entrusted with the management of the club together with Jaroslav Vašíček after the unexpected end of long-time club director Petr Pojezný.

However, Skuhravý remained in the position of sports manager in the provincial club. At the same time, he has no great responsibility. Veliče Šumulikoski is fully responsible for the sports side. Bomber, as the native of Přerov nad Labem is nicknamed, continues to fulfill more the role of a consultant, an advisor.

It is said that he did not play any role in the arrival of the new coach, Roman Skuhravý’s cousin.

“I’m a professional, I go my own way. I’ve never needed any extreme consultation in my life. I know that Tomáš is part of the club and we will definitely come into contact. But we discussed the rules before signing the contract,” said the fifty-year-old coach after his arrival in Uherské Hradiště, where he took his son David with him.

Their more famous relative made an indelible mark in the history of Czech football at the World Championship in Italy in 1990, where he helped Czechoslovakia advance to the quarter-finals with five goals and became the second best scorer of the tournament.
