Former Beveren player Cherif Ndiaye, who replaced Nicolas Jackson, then made it 3-0 in the 90th minute. The Samsunspor player received a good ball from a cross and finished perfectly.

With this success, Senegal leads Group D, tied on points with the Democratic Republic of Congo, which won 1-0 against Benin. Theo Bongonda was the one and only scorer of the match.
