With this victory, the Seahawks (12-3) qualified for the playoffs and took first place in the West section of the National Association.

The Seahawks were perfect on three two-point conversion attempts, including one to tie the game at 30-30 in the fourth quarter.

The Rams (11-4) got the first chance in overtime, and Matthew Stafford found Puka Nacua for a 41-yard touchdown. Nacua caught 12 balls for 225 yards, while Stafford passed for 457 yards – his third career best – and three majors.

The Rams gained 581 yards without committing a turnover. However, they were forced to make four punts and a missed field goal in their last five possessions.

The Seahawks trailed 30-14 when Rashid Shaheed ran a 58-yard punt return for a touchdown. AJ Barner was the author of the next major.

Darnold, who had four interceptions against the Rams in a 21-19 loss in November, was intercepted twice again. However, he made assists in the last quarter and in overtime, finishing the game with 270 yards and two majors.
