Baník is fifteenth after the fall, a goal ahead of last place Slovácko. In the spring, difficult rescue battles await him. The club management now has to operate on several fronts, in addition to strengthening the staff, they are also dealing with the position of coach. “Of course, we cannot be satisfied with the autumn. That is why we are doing an overall internal analysis from all possible angles,” said sports director Luděk Mikloško in an interview with Deník.
However, the uncertainty of whether the team will continue to be led by Tomáš Galásek or someone else seems to be holding the club back even in terms of reinforcements. “We have the players on the lookout. It will be about whether they want to come to us, in other words, whether the clubs want to release them, and under what conditions. But the owner is ready to put money into it,” promised Mikloško, while he is looking for more experienced players for the prospective team.
And Sadílek fits this profile. At the age of twenty-nine, he is in the prime of his career, at a productive age, and would be a reinforcement for most Czech clubs. In Sparta, preference is given to foreign players, moreover, the native of Uherské Hradiště’s contract expires at the end of the season.
“We have permission to leave under certain conditions. We are negotiating with several clubs from the Czech Republic, Poland and America,” revealed Svěrkoš at the weekend. “Lukáš’s wish is to try abroad, but we were also approached by Baník Ostrava, with whom we are in intensive negotiations. We met with the management and the owner and we have an offer on the table. It is not finished yet, in addition, the club would also have to come to an agreement with Sparta,” added the former national team forward.
In addition to Baník, Olomouc’s Sigma and Zbrojovka Brno, which are coached by Martin Svědík, whom he knows from Slovácko, should also be interested. In the case of the Poles, Gornik Zabrze is a serious adept, and Lubin is also applying for the player. Currently, it looks like Sadílek will go to the score of the second team of the Polish Ekstraklasa.
However, the return of Patrizio Stronati from Hungarian Puskás is not completely unrealistic for Slezany, where the thirty-one-year-old stopper did not play as much as he was used to in the autumn. “The miner was interested, he sent an offer, so we’ll see. But we’re also waiting to see if something comes from abroad,” pointed out Václav Svěrkoš.
For the owner Václav Brabek and spol. the name of Filip Panák, a year younger, would also be interesting, Příbor’s pupil, who went through Baník in his youth, is also currently not playing regularly for Sparta. “That a player doesn’t play in a certain period is part of football and sport. Filip takes it like a pro and I don’t think that a transfer would be relevant now in the winter. At this moment, he would like to continue in Sparta. However, you never know, things can change quickly in January,” answered Václav Svěrkoš.
