Fabo Herons Montecatini is pleased to be able to announce the hiring of playmaker Ruben Zugno, 29 years old, 187 cm, coming from JuVi Cremona in A2, a category in which he has played for 10 consecutive seasons, with a personal record in a single match of 30 points.
Zugno, born on 20 March 1996 in Caltanissetta, grew up in the youth sector of Cantù, where he won an Under 20 Scudetto as a protagonist, also making his debut in Serie A with the Brianza team in 2015. Then he established himself in A2 between Agrigento, Bergamo, Turin, Nardò, NPC Rieti, Orzinuovi and Juvi Cremona.
A playmaker who has intensity, a high pace and important playmaking skills, Ruben knows how to play in transition and attacks the rim effectively, his impact is also felt in defence. The new rossoblù director will wear the Fabo Herons number 6 shirt and will be available to coach Meo Sacchetti starting tomorrow.
